Tungsten Electrode
Description

Wherever finely crafted weld seams are created, high-quality materials are welded and precisely welded joints are to be created. Tungsten electrodes form a clean, balled tip when heated. They offer good arc stability for low- to medium-amperage AC(alternating current) welding on aluminum and magnesium. The electrodes insert into a compatible TIG (tungsten inert gas) torch that is connected to a welder that supplies current to the electrode. The type of electrode used depends on the base material and thickness of the workpiece, as well as the type of output current provided by the welder.
As a worldwide supplier of tungsten products supplier, Alfa Chemistry supplies tungsten electrodes and tungsten electrodes with some rare earth oxides.
