3D Printing AISI 4130
UNS G41300
Description
AISI 4130 is a low alloy C-steel containing chromium and molybdenum as strengthening agents. The steel has a good strength, toughness, fatigue strength, weldability and machinability. Additional quench and tempering heat treatment allows for wide range of strength/ductility combinations. These interesting properties allow 4130 powder to be used in 3D printing for industrial applications, for example, medium and highly loaded components in automotive and general industry.
