3D Printing 16MnCr5
Description
16MnCr5 is a case hardening steel with a carbon content between 0.14 and 0.19 %. After hardening, there is a hard, wear-resistant surface layer and a comparatively tough core that is able to absorb impact stresses without breaking. Our 3D printing 16MnCr5 is a vacuum induction melted, argon gas atomized, spherical powder for additive manufacturing. The finished product, after thermal aging heat treatment, has high hardness, toughness and strength, high dimensional stability and low deformation. It has high machinability and maintains its properties at about 400 ℃.
