Gallium is a blue-gray metal with an orthorhombic crystalline structure and can be cut with a knife. It is solid at room temperatures but turns to liquid when slightly heated. Gallium is more abundant than lead, but it is much more difficult to extract, because it has not been selectively concentrated into minerals by any geological process. Gallium is stable in air and water; but it reacts with and dissolves in acids and alkalis.

Alfa Chemistry provides high-quality gallium and gallium-based alloys at a competitive price. We can also customize various shapes of gallium products according to your requirements or drawings.

Pure Gallium Products

Gallium can find applications in various kinds of industries, such as in mirrors, in high temperature thermometers, in bright, highly reflective surface coating for on glass, in LEDs for electronic display and watches, and in semiconductor components.

Gallium-based Alloys

Gallium can be mixed with different substances (In, Sn, Zn, Ge, Al) to obtain a low melting point alloy. Gallium-based alloys are ideal base carriers for temperature-sensitive ferrofluids, which can be used for energy convection, soft robotics, microchannels, magnetorheological devices, etc.

Gallium-based alloys we can provide include gallium-indium (Ga-In) alloys and gallium-indium-tin (Ga-In-Sn) alloys.
