Tungsten-Carbide Powder

Description

Tungsten-Carbide Powder

The production of tungsten-carbide powder typically begins with various sizes of pure tungsten powder. Then by adding the carbon powder, the material undergoes a carburization process at high temperatures. The resulting alloyed material has a chemical formula of WC. Some of the common applications for tungsten carbide include cutting tools and high wear surfaces.

Alfa Chemistry specializes in providing high quality tungsten-carbide powder in a wide range of particle sizes and densities, which conform to some of the highest purity and PSD specifications from a wide variety of markets including aerospace, oil and gas, energy, earthworks, construction, metal cutting, and process industries. In addition, we can also customize various shapes of tungsten-carbide alloy products according to your requirements or drawings, and our manufacturing and applications engineers take pride in delivering high performance material solutions to all our customers.
