Beryllium Bronze C17540

UNS C17540

Description

C17540
COPPER ALLOY

Beryllium bronze C17540, also known as CW103C, is a high-copper alloy with 1% nickel and 0.5% beryllium content. After hot forging and heat treatment processes it gains considerably hardness, electrical and thermal conductivity as well. It is possible to have different combinations of electrical conductivity and hardness by changing the heat treatment conditions which make it a suitable choice for electrical applications.
