WE43B
UNS M18430
Description
Magnesium alloy WE43B is a high strength magnesium-based casting alloy developed for use at temperatures up to 300˚C. It maintains good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, without the use of either silver or thorium. WE43B is stable for long term exposure up to 250˚C and has excellent corrosion resistance characteristics. Like all magnesium alloy castings, WE43B castings machine faster than any other metal.
