Description
Titanium Grade 1 is an unalloyed α phase titanium containing low oxygen and is one of four commercially pure titanium grades. Titanium Grade 1 is softest and most ductile of the titanium grades. Moreover, this grade material offers a variety of excellent properties. It has highest purity, excellent corrosion resistance, high formability, excellent weldability, and good impact properties at low temperatures. But it has lowest strength and is not age hardenable. Titanium Grade 1 can be produced in a deep draw quality as well as has a variety of surface conditions from bright to dull. The material can be used in architectural components, oil & gas, pharmaceutical and marine parts where the parts are subjected to very harsh environments.

Additional Properties
Corrosion Resistance: This material offers high corrosion resistance in oxidising, neutral and mildly reducing media, including chlorides.
Heat Treatment: Titanium Grade 1 can only be hardened by cold work.
