Description
Red Brass C23000, also known as CuZn15, is composed of 85% copper and 15% zinc. It is resistant and very ductile when cold, therefore suitable for all deformation work. C23000 is one of the most corrosion-resistant brass types. It is also very easily polished, nickel-plated or chrome-plated. As a result, it is the second most commonly used brass or copper-zinc alloy, especially for applications requiring excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and dezincification combined with good strength and ductility.
