Description
Phosphor Bronze C52100, also designated as C521, CuSn8P, UE9P, CW451K, PB104, BS2B24, and DTD265A, is a wrought 8% tin bronze that has substantially higher tensile strength than C51000. When manufactured to be hard tempered, C52100 has a very high tensile strength, which facilitates its use in high load applications. Especially considering its good fatigue properties, high impact bearing and load applications that require good wear characteristics will benefit from the use of this alloy.
