Phosphor Bronze C51000

UNS C51000

Description

C51000
COPPER ALLOY

Phosphor Bronze C51000, also known as CW451K, consists of copper with 4.2–5.8% of tin and 0.03–0.35% phosphorus. Due to the addition of tin, the corrosion resistance and strength of the alloy is increased. And the addition of phosphorus increases the wear resistance and stiffness of the alloy. C51000 is notable for its toughness, strength, low coefficient of friction, and fine grain. It is widely used in the electronic, electrical, automotive industries, wherever drawing, spinning, blanking or cold working is required.
