Nitronic 32 Stainless Steel
UNS S24100
Description
Nitronic 32 Alloy (XM-28) is a low nickel austenitic stainless steel that has almost twice the yield strength of 304 with comparable corrosion resistance. It is characterized by excellent machinability and corrosion resistance, as well as high strength at both ambient and high temperatures. In addition, the alloy has good ductility even at high strength. Therefore, the alloy is an ideal material for making cold heading parts requiring high mechanical properties.
