MP35N
UNS R30035
Description
35N
MP35N is a nickel-cobalt base alloy with multi-phase system that offers a unique combination of properties - ultra high strength, toughness, ductility, biocompatibility and outstanding corrosion resistance. MP35N resists corrosion in hydrogen sulphide, salt water, chloride solutions, and mineral acids (such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid). It is produced by vacuum induction melting and vacuum arc re-melting (VIM-VAR) and is work-strengthened and aged to obtain strength of 260-300 ksi and hardnesss of up to 55-60 Rockwell C. MP35N alloy can be effectively used at cryogenic temperatures without embrittlement and can maintain its properties at temperatures up to 600 °F. Typical application fields for MP35N alloy include oil and gas, aerospace, medical devices and dental products.
