Cupronickel (with Zn) C75700

UNS C75700

Description

C75700
COPPER ALLOY

C75700 is a copper-nickel alloy is the face centered cubic alpha phase, and hence it has a good combination of strength, hardness, ductility, good corrosion and tarnish-resistance performance, and this alloy has the pleasing silver-like color. Its principal applications are in spring components produced from hard rolled tempers. Accordingly, much of 12% nickel silver produced is used in the telecommunications industry.
