Cupronickel (with Fe) C70600

UNS C70600

Description

C70600
COPPER ALLOY

C70600 is a copper-nickel-iron alloy with a small content of manganese that adds excellent resistance to sea- and brackish water. The addition of iron significantly improves the resistance of Cu-Ni alloys to erosion corrosion in flowing seawater and other aggressive waters, and mechanical properties are improved not only at room temperature, but also at elevated temperatures. And the Cu-Ni alloy with addition of manganese is important in electrical engineering.
