Beryllium Bronze C17300

UNS C17300

Description

C17300
COPPER ALLOY

Beryllium bronze C17300 is heat treatable, ductile and can be mill hardened. It is an age-hardened alloy having developed higher strengths. Its age-hardening response depends on the factors of time, temperature, and cold work applied to the metal. By either under-aging or over-aging during the precipitation hardening process its many properties (toughness, fatigue strength, corrosion resistance, etc.) can be modified and controlled. C17300 is suitable for applications requiring good conductivity, high strength and stiffness.
