Description
Magnesium alloy AZ92A is a Mg-9Al-2Zn welding alloy which finds wide use for fabricating and repair welding of many similar compositions. Casting repair and refurbishment is the most common application. In general, AZ92A alloy has four common variations, AZ92A-F, AZ92A-T4, AZ92A-T5, AZ92A-T6 (* -F = as cast; -T4 = artificially aged; -T5 = solution heat-treated; -T6 = solution heat-treated).
