Description
Magnesium alloy AZ80A is a common magnesium alloy including three common variations, AZ80A-F, AZ80A-T5 and AZ80A-T6 Magnesium. AZ80A-F is a magnesium alloy in the as-fabricated (no temper or treatment) condition. AZ80A-T5 (T6) magnesium is AZ80A magnesium in the T5 (T6) temper. Alfa Chemistry focus on the AZ80A-T5 alloy. To achieve this temper, AZ80A-T5 alloy is artificially aged until it meets standard mechanical property requirements. It has the highest strength and lowest ductility compared to the other variants of AZ80A magnesium.
