Arsenic Brass C26130

UNS C26130

Description

C26130
COPPER ALLOY

Arsenic Brass C26130 is a 70:30 copper-zinc alloy with a trace quantity of arsenic as a corrosion inhibitor. The mechanical properties are unaffected by the arsenic addition, but its corrosion resistance is greatly improved. C26130 is sometimes referred to as 'DR' or dezincification resistant brass. C26130 consists of the face centered cubic alpha phase and has the optimum combination of strength and ductility in the copper-zinc series. As its good ductility, it can be readily formed by all conventional methods.
