Description
Aluminum alloy 1200 is a non-heat treatable commercially pure aluminum that combines very good atmospheric corrosion resistance and workability. The mechanical, physical and fabrication properties of 1200 are very similar to that of 1050A, with the only real noticeable difference being the 1200 has a slightly higher strength but a lower thermal conductivity and reflectivity values. Even so, the alloy also boasts high thermal conductivity and reflectivity. With similar properties, the application areas of aluminum alloy 1200 are similar to that of aluminum alloy 1050A.
