204Cu Stainless Steel

UNS S20430

Description

204Cu
STAINLESS STEEL

204Cu is a chromium-magnesium austenitic stainless steel with an addition of 2-4% copper and nitrogen of 0.05-0.25%. 204Cu stainless steel has excellent fatigue strength, which makes it an ideal choice for applications that require high levels of stress tolerance or vibration resistance. Additionally, this alloy has a high melting point (1450 °C) which means it can withstand high temperatures without deforming or becoming. It is worth mentioning that 204Cu stainless steel has slightly magnetic after cold working, which offers advantages over other austenitic stainless in certain applications.
