Description
The 200 series stainless steel was first made in the United States during World War II as a substitute for the 300 series stainless steel to conserve nickel. 201 stainless steel has the characteristics of a certain acid resistance, alkali resistance, high density, polishing without bubbles, no pinholes and others, which is mainly used to do decorative pipe, industrial pipe, some shallow stretching products. Alloy 201 can be used as an alternative to alloy 301 in some tempered applications.
