Description
17-7 PH is austenitic-martensitic precipitation-hardened stainless steel developed on the basis of 18-8CrNi, which is also known as controlled phase change stainless steel. The stainless steel provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue properties, good formability, and minimum distortion upon heat treatment. And it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing acids, but only moderate corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
